Scenes and shots
Define the visual direction of each passage of the script and attach reference images.
What it is
A scene is the visual direction of a passage of the script — what appears on screen while that text is spoken. When a scene needs several directions in sequence, it breaks into shots.
The script answers what is said. The scene answers what is seen.
How to use it
- In the script, select the passage.
- Define a scene for the selected passage.
- Describe what appears on screen in that scene.
- If you need sequential direction, add shots inside the scene.
Without a selection the action doesn't appear — a scene always ties to a piece of the text.
Reference images
Attach images to remove ambiguity from the brief. A written description leaves room for interpretation; a visual reference doesn't.
- In the scene (or shot), add a reference image.
- Upload the file.

Editing and removing
Scenes and shots can be edited at any time. Deleting a scene asks for confirmation, because it takes its shots and attached images with it.
Every edit enters the video's history as edited a scene or removed a scene.
